Georgia Metropolitan Dance Theatre (GMDT) Presents The Nutcracker
GMDT, a prominent dance company in Marietta, is renowned for its exceptional ballet performances. Their annual production of The Nutcracker is a true holiday highlight, and this year is no exception. I also believe the story of the Nutcracker is timeless because for most of the ballet we are in a little girl’s imagination. This gives us the freedom to add changes in order to keep up with the times while still keeping the integrity of the story. It’s a tradition that people love, including everyone at GMDT.”

Their Nutcracker uses 25 professional dancers, 2 guest artists and almost 70 students! They are excited to welcome back, Featured Performer, Kelsey Shackleford, she danced with them for 11 years.
