Prepare for spooky fun at Marietta History Center and William Root House Museum. Pop In for free fun at the Marietta History Center It’s a day of Halloween crafts on Saturday, October 21. During the month of October, the rooms inside the Root House are decorated for a Victorian-era funeral. Hannah and William Root’s eldest son, Willie Root, served as Cobb County coroner from 1883 to 1887. This lecture on October 20, will explore Willie’s curious relationship with death.  It’s a spine-tingling way to learn about Marietta’s past
