GSO presents A Sensory Friendly Concert
March 7, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
$10
The Georgia Symphony Orchestra is delighted to present the fifth annual GSO Sensory Friendly Concert at 2pm on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Marietta Performing Arts Center. This event is designed uniquely for sensory sensitive listeners. As an integral component of the GSO educational and outreach programs, this concert will provide the opportunity to experience great orchestral music in a low pressure environment.
During this 60 minute program, audience members are free to move about, dance, and sing. Sensory sensitive listeners and family members will delight in the discovery of an orchestral experience that invites and welcomes everyone into the beautiful world of classical music performed by professional orchestral musicians. The Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra Chamber Chorus will be joining the orchestra in the performance this year, along with guest artist, Ecuadorian cellist Francisco Vila. Families can arrive early for the ever-popular instrument petting zoo in the lobby.
