Fried Green Tomatoes

This Southern movie classic tells the story of Idgie and Ruth, two women whose lives are forever linked through loss and love in the small town of Whistlestop, Alabama in the 1920s. Told through flashbacks, their story continues to change lives into the modern day when an unfulfilled housewife hears their story for the first time and gains the confidence to change her own life — one fried green tomato at a time.
