Chalktoberfest
Chalktoberfest is an art-filled weekend with something for the whole family to enjoy. Professional chalk artists from across the USA, and around the globe bring their talents to the beautiful streets of Marietta Square for all to enjoy. Enjoy your afternoon as you watch the chalk artists create their masterpieces, listen to local bands perform in Glover Park, and support local arts, craft, and food vendors. Chalktoberfest has something for everyone, and the best part is that the chalk festival is free and open to the public! In addition to the weekend-long chalk art festival, Chalktoberfest will present our annual Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, October 11th and our annual Community Chalk Competition on Sunday, October 12th.
The Craft Beer Festival will be held on Saturday October 10h, 2025 from 12:00pm – 5:00pm on West Park Square. Enjoy unlimited samples of over 120 different kinds of brew from dozens of local companies and 25 varieties of wine. All Craft Beer Festival participants will receive a collectible 2025 Chalktoberfest souvenir cup!
The Community Chalk Competition will be held on Sunday October 11th, 2025, 11:00am – 1:00pm. This competition is a unique opportunity for community members to try their hand at creating their own chalk art, have a chance to win exciting prizes, and be part of the chalk art legacy that Chalktoberfest brings each year. The competition is open for the public to participate, and participants may enter as individuals or as part of a group. Registration for the competition is now open at www.chalktoberfest.com.
